honeymouse SG Got bitten by a tick when I was in Darwin. Ya, I think I have already been infected by the disease........ have been suffering from rash for the last 3-4 weeks. Haven't been able to sleep well at night because of the itch.
honeymouse SG Had the blood test done 2 weeks ago but for some reasons it took a while to get the result. I am going to see the specialist tomorrow so I will find out. In the mean time I have been given antibiotics to treat it and it seems to have improved my condition slightly.

honeymouse SG You can apply insect repellent on yourself and tuck your pants into your shoes when walking in area with long grass. Unfortunately I didn't think about that when I was in Darwin and I didn't take any precaution. The site I went to has very long grass (waist height) and I believe I got the tick from there.
